Infernal Poetry was born in Ancona, Italy, during the year 1996 with the name Necronomicon. In 1997, they changed their name in Infernal Poetry and in 2002 they released the first album called Not Light but Rather Visible Darkness, an album that mixed some pure death metal attitudes with more melodic parts.
Beholding the Unpure, the second Full Length, is dated 2005. The band is frequently on tour, not only in Italy, and it’s trying to get more visible in death metal’s international scenery.
